Bevel Cutting for Mid to Large-Size Gantry Machines

Messer Cutting Systems R&D has engineered a new plasma bevel rotator, the Skew Rotator Delta. The Rotator Delta provides the option of bevel cutting up to 400 amps for users in the mid to large-size gantry machine market, providing a wider range of options to better suit your needs.

Now more users than ever before can utilize bevel cutting to create the finished parts they need. The compound skew design utilized in the Global Rotator Delta keeps the critical components up and away from the cutting torch, minimizing the risk of damage to the torch by slag, heat, and collision. This design concept has been proven by the Global Rotator Infinity in many rigorous applications.

It is capable of cutting accurate bevel profiles on any angle from +45° to -45°, and it is controlled automatically by the Global Control Plus. Rotation of +/- 460° takes place at a rate of up to 50 RPM, for efficient use of machine on time. Torch height is controlled automatically with analog arc voltage to an accuracy of +/-0,15mm, so part accuracy is maintained throughout the cut. Corner loop size down to 10 mm can be achieved without requiring start/stop commands. The result is accurate parts with square corners and a minimum of scrap. The Global Rotator Delta can be used on a variety of machines.
