Electric Drilling Unit

Our Drilling Unit is important for you in those cases where high accuracy of the holes is required (e.g. as preparation for thread cutting), the hole diameter has to be less than the material thickness or the number of thermal hole piercings has to be reduced, the machines can also be equipped with a drilling head.

All processes are done in the same set-up, providing accurate, feature-to-feature relationships, both within a single piece and from part to part.

• Mist lubrication unit is mounted to the drill station for reliable and easy drilling
• A portion of the four inch drill stroke can be feed-rate controlled to provide reliable drilling while minimizing tool breakage
• Drill “start” and “stop” commands are initiated automatically by the part program to free operator for other tasks
• Drills up to 1/2" (standard) diameter holes in mild steel up to 1" thick
• Up to 3/4" or 3/8" diameter available according to the machine.
