High accuracy, low heat input
As the laser beam is guided via a fiber cable, no adjustment is necessary between laser source and carriage. Also, no purging gas is needed.
With a wall plug efficiency up to 30%, the fiber laser much more efficient than the CO2-Laser. The cutting quality in mild steel is comparable up to 15 mm thickness. Stainless steel and aluminum are also possible.
