OmniWin 2011 Classic

For the highest demands in thermal cutting

When cutting parts with thermal cutting, they must be positioned on the plate as space saving as possible. The aim is to make use of as much of the material as possible. The cutting process should take place fast and with high cut quality. Various cut strategies are necessary to cut the widest range of materials and thicknesses. The aim is to use the newest plasma cutting technology, the Messer Hole Technology.

Parts are professionally designed with the CAD-System of OmniWin 2011 Classic that is specially conceived for cutting technology.  The results are saved directly into the database with no diversion through an intermediate format such as DXF. More than 87 parameterized macros (standard shapes) are available for the creation of parts, shortening the input of standard parts.

The import filter allows component geometries in DXF, DWG, DWF and IGES format from other CAD systems to be read in automatically and geometry errors to be cleaned. OmniWin 2011 Classic also supports the import of DSTV and ESSI files.

Parts, plates and plans are managed simply and effectively. Part identifications, quantities, material, thickness and freely defined administration data are stored in the central database with the completed part. The part administration contains several predefined, extendable database configurations with common administrative fields and individually configurable formulae.

You can nest large quantities of parts in short times with the powerful nesting module. Automatic nesting is also included. Essential inputs for the process are taken into account. If necessary, starts of cut are repositioned. To be able to cut efficiently, that is fast and with economical material usage, it is possible to add bridges, stitches and common cuts.

When the nested plan is saved, a postprocessor set up for oxyfuel, plasma or laser cutting machines transforms the finished nested plan into the NC code, which can be transferred directly to the machine. An NC code for individual parts can be comfortably produced without having to call the nesting program.

Various nesting strategies are available. For example, you can work in multi-torch operation on dissimilar plates side by side with automatic torch changing. Or in multi-torch operation on remnant plates with automatic torch changing. Also working with open inner or outer contours and automatic repositioning of lead lines when parts are rotated are user-friendly functions.

Different orders for customers can be formed from standard parts quickly and reliably. Part data can be extended to include the order data. A part can be identified by just its geometry or can also be allocated to various orders. Parts that belong together can be stored as groups with the relevant data such as group number, name, quantity and position. Orders can also be generated using the part group tables. It is possible to integrate OmniWin 2011 Classic into existing systems for production control with the freely configurable order management. Thus, orders can be taken from the production planning system and nested automatically.

OmniWin 2011 Classic is supplied as OmniWin 2011 Classic Standard and OmniWin 2011 Classic Professional. The Standard version includes multiple torch cutting, database functionality, technology functions (bridges, stitches, common cuts and many more). OmniWin 2011 Professional offers database functionality, drill functions, automatic nesting and order management.
